Delivery and governance

How we contract

We work under item-rate and bill-of-quantities contracts for public authorities, lump-sum turnkey EPC contracts for industrial clients, standalone supply contracts, and EPC subcontract packages beneath a principal contractor. We are accustomed to performance security by bank guarantee, retention against certified work, advance payment against guarantee, liquidated damages tied to programme milestones, and defect liability periods running beyond handover. Where a project is financed by a development finance institution, we contract on the basis that the environmental and social requirements applicable to that facility — including the IFC Performance Standards where they apply — flow down through our method statements and into our subcontractor obligations.
